XS-3500

XS-3500, a 13-Port Gigabit Ethernet PCI Express Mezzanine Card (XMC), provides an extremely compact and cost effective Network processor platform in an XMC form-factor.

Equipped with Microchip’s WinPath3 network processor SoC and a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) microcontroller, XS-3500 provides programmable networking and gateway functions, state-of-the-art security, encryption and integrity protection.

WinPath3 integrates control plane and enhanced data plane processing components. Control plane processing is based on two high performance MIPS 34K multi-threaded processors. Data plane processing uses hardware accelerators for packet classification, hierarchical shaping, additional security standards and more which have been added to off-load common processing tasks.
